Our Cane open weave doors offer an organic texture that is lightweight yet sturdy. The cane textile allows signal from TV boxes / decoders to operate through the closed doors. The framed doors have an MDF core and are available in two finishes. The painted, coloured edge is sprayed several times for a smooth finish using a high-quality paint and the natural oak edge features an oak veneer.
Pictured above in our black/natural combination, but you can change the colour to your preference using the drop-down menu. The sides and top will adjust as per the door colour selected.
IMPORTANT: As cane is a natural, organic material, imperfections in colour and consistency of the weave are considered normal. These are not faults. Furthermore, as a natural fibre, cane webbing may expand and contract when subjected to temperature changes. Occasionally, this may affect the tension of the cane within it’s frame during or after delivery, particularly in the summer months. If this does occur, kindly allow a few days for the material to settle in it’s new environment.
NOTE: Where a top exceeds 78 ¾”, as this one does, we have split the top into 2x 71 ½ “ tops (each sized for one side) in order to make the size more efficient for shipping purposes. You have the option to select the top(s) with or without a cable management cutout. Note that the optional cutout in this configuration is positioned in the centre.

This combination does not include legs and assumes that you will wall mount your cabinet. We recommend adding handles to personalize your doors, but if you prefer a handle-free solution, we suggest using IKEA’s push-open mechanisms. Please check our hardware section for handle availability.

Product Disclaimers
MDF & WOOD VENEER
Please note that much like solid wood, MDF can exhibit dimensional changes as a result of changes in environment. As such, If wood veneer and MDF isn't acclimated to the ambient relative humidity and temperature, it may expand or contract. It is important therefore to store products on site for a minimum of 24 hours or longer in the environment in which they will be installed. To prevent the wood from undergoing natural shrinkage phenomenon, it is important to moderate the use of air conditioning or heating. If the air is too dry, the wood and painted MDF products may respond with micro-cracks on the surface. On the contrary, if the air is too saturated with humidity, they may expand.

As cane is a natural, organic material imperfections in colour and consistency of the weave do occur and are considered normal. These are not faults.
Product Care
A damp cloth and lukewarm water is the best way to clean your Fronteriors components. To remove oily marks and fingerprints, use a mild detergent, a solution of water and vinegar, or a mild dishwashing liquid, and then wipe the surface with a dry cloth to make sure there are no smudges.
Harsh soaps, strong detergents, hard sponges, and vigorous scrubbing can damage the surfaces.
